The McCollum-Chidester House at 926 Washington Street in Camden, built in 1847, was home to Union General Frederick Steele during part of the Federal occupation of Camden in 1864. It is now a house museum.

Open Wed.-Sat. 9:00 A.M.-4:00 P.M.; closed February and major holidays.
 
From I-30 at Prescott take State Highway 24 east to Camden, turn from Highway 24 onto State Highway 4 Spur, and follow Washington Street to museum at 926 Washington Street.
