On the morning of September 6, 1863, Confederate generals L. Marsh Walker and John S. Marmaduke fought a duel, even as a Union army marched toward the capital. The site is part of the Little Rock Campaign driving tour.
 
Located south of Highway 165 just east of its junction with Highway 70.
 
Open dawn to dusk.
