Unionist Judge Jonas Tebbetts built this house in 1853. Confederates jailed him in 1862 before exiling him to St. Louis. The 1863 Battle of Fayetteville was fought in the area surrounding the house.
Located at 118 E. Dickson St., Fayetteville, AR 72701.
Open 1 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Take I-540 to Exit 62 at Fayetteville. Take Futrall Drive to 6th Street, then School Avenue to Dickson Street. The museum is adjacent to the intersection of College Avenue and Dickson.
