Camp Nelson Confederate Cemetery, located off Highway 321 near Cabot, contains the remains of Confederate soldiers who died from a measles epidemic in 1862. Their remains were gathered after the war and they were re-interred in this cemetery.
 
Open daily from dawn to dusk.
 
Directions: From I-40 take Remington exit (7 miles west of Lonoke). Take Highway 15 north for 2.5 miles to where it crosses and becomes Highway 89. Continue on Highway 89 to its junction with Highway 321. Turn right on Highway 321 and continue approximately 2 miles to Cherry Road. Turn left on Cherry Road. Site is about 0.5 mile on the right.
